Curriculum

CGS

The Elementary school children (ages 3-12 or pre-k through 6th grade) will spend two hours attending Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.  More information can be found about this program on the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd page.

APPLIED LEARNING

The Upper school children (ages 12-18 or 7th through 12th grade) will spend two hours in an Applied Learning program.  The children will be introduced to a variety of Trades, Lost Arts, Handicrafts and Homesteading subjects.  The list below is a sample of the presentations your children may be given during this Applied Learning Program or monthly afternoon presentation open to the entire co-op. These children will also learn to make many things that are materials for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and learn how to run an online store to sell these materials.  Our hope is that this will bring in significant net income so that we can reduce the tuition in the years to come.
